LOCATION
Our main depot is situated only a few minutes from junctions 25 A and 26 on the M4 from which County Motor Services Limited are ideally positioned to cover all parts of Gwent.
Both Severn Bridge Crossings are within easy reach, as is the A 449 with direct access to the A 40 between Monmouth and Abergavenny. The A 4042 and A4051 provide an exceptionally fast modern link to Cwmbran, Pontypool, Abergavenny, and North Gwent generally. The A 472 links Pontypool to both Usk in the east of the county, and Newbridge / Blackwood to the west.
Expansion and development plans for the company include the acquisition of another site in the Ebbw Vale area of North Gwent, close to the A 465 Heads of the Valley road. This will provide improved access to Merthyr Tydfil, Caerphilly and the valleys. Full services matching those in Newport will be provided commencing in the year 2002.
The new Ebbw Vale site provides direct access the A 467 ( and A4046 ) from junction 28 on the M4, ( Newport Base ) along its entire length as far as the A 465 ( Ebbw Vale Base ) A satellite base is also planned for later this year in Usk, allowing quicker access to all areas in the North West of the county.
